Introduction
The Change Team is at the heart of innovation at Leicestershire Police, helping us stay adaptable in the face of evolving policing challenges. Technology plays a vital role in how we protect our communities, and our tech teams are key to making that possible. We have a helpdesk providing first-line support, teams dedicated to managing our hardware and software, and a business systems team handling updates and configurations.
Our third-line tech team focuses on engineering and application support, while our infrastructure and security teams ensure our systems are stable and secure. Driving progress, our digital transformation team introduces innovation through automation, AI, and Microsoft 365. Supporting all of this are our programme, project, admin, finance, and IT contracts teams, who keep everything aligned and running smoothly.

This team within our Change department offers specific Hardware and Software support.

This team helps with maintaining, updating and fixing faults. Designing and installing existing and new applications.
Managing IT Infrastructure
This team supports us with change management, maintenance and improvement.
Investing in your development
Keeping our tech up-to-date with server refreshes, cloud transitions for virtual computing and storage, and creating innovative solutions to boost efficiency. We regularly update apps and work on national and regional tech projects, including with EMSOU, to drive transformation.
Our team enjoys a great training budget to help staff sharpen existing skills and learn new ones. Whether it's cloud apps, server development, virtual computing, coding, or emerging tech, there's always something new to explore and master.
