Our Estates team takes care of all our properties, from maintenance and energy projects to finding new locations when needed. Meanwhile, our Fleet team ensures our vehicles are in top shape, keeping them ready to cover every corner of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, day in and day out.
We take care of the force’s estate and infrastructure, including purchasing land, managing leases, and overseeing building projects and maintenance. Our goal is to provide top-quality spaces for the police to work from.
Our Assets team are involved in a range of services relating to our property, assets and estates management. In particular, you’ll make a big contribution to our strategy of ensuring that all the constabulary’s buildings are safe, fit for purpose and cost effective, as well as planning the properties of the future.
With many of our teams covering large geographical areas, our fleet of police vehicles is vital to ensure we provide effective policing to all the corners of Leicestershire and Rutland. Join our Fleet Management team and you’ll help to make sure we have the well-maintained vehicles we need.
Managing our fleet
Establishing fleet policy, managing vehicle contracts and maintenance, as well as organising the replacements and disposal of vehicles.
Managing our vehicles
Overseeing insurance and repairs, managing fuel accounts, and organising hire vehicles.
Managing our buildings
Managing our estate, contributing to keeping our buildings well maintained and repaired.
Managing new projects
Managing construction projects and electrical or mechanical installations, as well as managing our use of energy.
