East Midlands Legal Services

Driving legal excellence across Leicestershire

Introduction

The East Midlands Police Legal Services team works across five forces, covering a wide range of legal areas. We provide services to the Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner of Leicestershire, as well as working with Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire Constabularies, and the Northamptonshire Fire Service. Our work includes acting as the Recognised Legal Representative for the National Police Chiefs Council in the Undercover Policing Inquiry and the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse.

To succeed here, you’ll need to enjoy a varied workload and have a passion for law. Our qualified lawyers receive training based on their regulatory body’s requirements, and our two trainee solicitors get bespoke training to help them grow in their careers.
